ライブドアの商法というのは、虚業だなんだと言われているが、実はすごく身近に例がある。私のようにここ１５年くらいPCを触って、そのニュースに触れている人ならば誰もが知っているだろう。マイクロソフトだ。
昔からマイクロソフトに対する悪口に、「自分で開発するのではなく、技術を持っている会社を買ってくるだけ」というのがある。ビル・ゲイツはたしかにMicrosoft Basicを開発し、それでPCの黎明期を席捲したが、以後はMS-DOSも買収だったし、Windows NTの開発チームも同様だ。
必要な技術があればそれを持っている会社をM&Aで買収し、自分の商売に組み込んでゆく。ライブドアのやり方はこれと同じだ。マイクロソフトが作ろうとしたのはOSで、ライブドアはポータルサイトを作ろうとした。
まあ脇の甘さはライブドアの方がはるかに甘かったわけだが。司法省と戦って、結果的に実質的勝利を手にしたマイクロソフトに比べて、今回のライブドアはちょっと情けないわな。
そんなわけで別にライブドアに不思議な所はあんまり無い。今の楽しみは掌返したマスコミのやり口。いやあ、見てても何が問題となったのか全然わかんねえのな。坊主憎けりゃのように株式分割までが捜査容疑になっているかのような報道を見てると、報道じゃなくてチンドン屋という言葉がピッタリだ。
つうわけでライブドアの株はちょっと持ってたり。テレビ局買収騒動の時に買ったのをそのまま持ってただけなんだが。今売ったところで手数料にもならないのでこのまま放置予定。わはは。
